Overview

Wraith — Interdimensional Skirmisher — is a versatile Legend who excels at repositioning, flanking, and extracting allies from danger using short-range phasing and squad-wide portals.

Wraith portrait
  • Class: Skirmisher
  • Real Name: Renee Hope Blasey
  • Birth Date: December 21, 2701
  • Age: 34
  • Homeworld: Typhon
  • Height: 5’4” (163 cm)
  • Voice Actor: Shantel VanSanten
  • Availability: Unlocked by default

Abilities

Into the Void (Tactical)

Into the Void icon

Slip briefly into the void to avoid all damage and reposition. While phasing, the world desaturates, you gain a burst of speed, and enemies remain visible outlines.

  • Duration: ~4s in-phase after a brief wind-up (~1.25s)
  • Movement: ~30% faster in-phase; slowed slightly during wind-up
  • Cooldown: ~25s
  • Notes: Cannot use items or interact with most objects while phasing; ziplines still work.
Tip: Start the wind-up before you’re one shot. Use cover to mask the activation delay and exit phase from a safe angle.

Voices from the Void (Passive)

Voices from the Void icon

A mysterious voice warns Wraith when danger is imminent—snipers aiming, traps nearby, multiple enemies converging—and lets her ping the information for her squad.

  • Useful for crossing open ground and avoiding ambushes.
  • Pairs naturally with Into the Void when a warning triggers mid-rotation.
Tip: When the voice warns of a sniper, strafe into cover first, then peek or phase—don’t stand still to look for the glint.

Dimensional Rift (Ultimate)

Dimensional Rift icon

Link two locations with a portal for fast, safe travel. Anyone can use the rift in either direction while it’s active.

  • Portal distance: Roughly up to ~152m at maximum pace
  • Duration: ~45s
  • Charge time: ~3 minutes, reduced by some upgrades
  • Notes: Users are invulnerable while traveling the rift and leave a faint trail.
Tip: Place the entrance from cover. Curve exits behind hard cover, height, or a head-glitch to deny immediate line of sight to pursuers.

Legend Upgrades

In Battle Royale, Wraith can unlock two upgrade tiers as her Evo Armor levels up (Season 20+). Choose one per tier.

Level 2

  • Sixth Sense: Enhanced danger pings when squads approach (improves passive utility).
  • Ultimate Cooldown+: Dimensional Rift cooldown reduced by ~60s.

Level 3

  • Fast Phase: ~20% faster Into the Void wind-up.
  • Tactical Cooldown: ~5s reduction on Into the Void.

Lore

Wraith awoke in an IMC detention facility with no memory of her past as Senior Science Pilot Renee Blasey. Betrayed by a colleague and tormented by voices in her head, she was guided by a version of herself from another reality. Learning to trust the whispers, she mastered phasing, escaped her prison, and crossed into this timeline. Now, she fights in the Apex Games to uncover what happened to her—digging through old IMC sites and chasing the truth, no matter how unsettling.
