Trials

The Trials in Apex Legends is a unique PvE (Player vs Environment) event located on the map World's Edge. This event provides players with the opportunity to acquire high-tier loot by facing off against NPC enemies.

Location and Access

The Trials is situated in the northwest part of World's Edge, specifically in the area known as Climatizer. Players can enter the Trials through the main entrance located at the base of a large cliff formation. The area is easily identifiable by its unique architecture and is often a hotspot for early-game firefights due to the high-tier loot available.

Gameplay Mechanics

The Trials consist of three stages, each more challenging than the last. Players must defeat waves of Prowlers, which are AI-controlled creatures, to progress through each stage. Completing each stage rewards players with progressively better loot.

• Stage 1: Initial wave of Prowlers. Completing this stage grants access to several loot bins containing mid-tier loot.
• Stage 2: More numerous and aggressive Prowlers. Rewards include higher-tier weaponry and armor.
• Stage 3: The final and most challenging wave. Successful completion provides access to several high-tier loot bins with chances for legendary items.

Strategies for Success

To maximize the benefits from the Trials, consider the following strategies:

1. Team Coordination: Ensure all team members are ready before starting the trials, as coordination is crucial to handle the waves efficiently.
2. Resource Management: Conserve ammunition and health items, as these resources can be depleted quickly against the Prowlers.
3. Positioning: Use the environment to your advantage, taking high ground and using cover to minimize damage from Prowler attacks.

Successfully completing the Trials can give your team a significant advantage, providing high-quality loot and a strong territorial position early in the match.
