Revenant Unleashed
Overview
Revenant is a relentless simulacrum assassin in Apex Legends. Introduced in Season 4 and fully reworked in Season 18, he specializes in aggressive engagements, rapid repositioning, and hunting weakened targets. Voice actor: Darin De Paul.

Abilities
Shadow Pounce (Tactical)
Unleash a powerful forward leap. Hold to charge for additional distance.
- Charge up to 3 seconds for maximum range.
- Approximate distance: 20m (tap) up to 50m+ (full charge).
- Transitions cleanly into wall climbs on contact.
- Limited actions while leaping (movement and crouch only).
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Tip: Aim slightly downward while fully charged to maximize horizontal speed and distance. Use flat walls to chain into fast wall runs and surprise flanks.
Assassin’s Instinct (Passive)
Highlights nearby low-health enemies and enhances movement.
- Crouch-walks at normal walking speed.
- Greatly improved wall climbing—can scale much higher than other Legends with better lateral control.
- Highlights visible enemies within about 30 meters at or below roughly 40 health.
Tip: Combine fast crouch-ADS strafing with the reduced hitbox profile for effective dueling. Use silent crouch movement to reposition and ambush.
Forged Shadows (Ultimate)
Forge a shroud of hardened shadows that blocks direct damage and regenerates. Securing knockdowns refreshes the shroud and extends duration.
- Creates a 75 HP Shadow Shroud for up to ~25 seconds.
- Absorbs direct damage first (bullets, melee, most explosives), then health/shields.
- Does not block most area damage (ring, fire, certain field hazards).
- Knockdowns restore the shroud to full and extend its duration briefly; also recharges the tactical.
Charge time: ~3 minutes
Tip: Activate before committing to a push. The extra health buffer pairs perfectly with Shadow Pounce for high-pressure, aggressive entries.
Legend Upgrades (Battle Royale, Season 20+)
Earn upgrades as your Evo Armor levels up (choose one per level, up to two total):
- Level 2: Forged Shadows cooldown -30s, or doubled low-health mark duration.
- Level 3: Shadow Pounce cooldown -5s, or ~50% faster charge and attack time for Shadow Pounce.
Lore
Once the Syndicate’s most lethal human hitman, Revenant awoke from years of falsified memories to discover he had become a simulacrum—metal and vestigial flesh engineered by Hammond Robotics. He hunted down those responsible, but true death eluded him. After being denied the release he craved, Revenant entered the Games, later finding his abilities torn away, only to be reforged into something even more terrifying. Now, he’ll stop at nothing to find who is manipulating him—and make them suffer.
