Abilities

Focus of Attention (Tactical)

Summon micro-drones to emit a delayed blast through walls, silencing and revealing enemies in a long cylinder ahead of Seer.

  • Area: 60 m long, ~8 m wide cylinder.
  • Delay: Brief wind-up before detonation.
  • Effects: Silences enemies, briefly slows on initial impact, and reveals health bars/outline on hit for a short window when line of sight is present.
  • Cooldown: 30 seconds.
Pro tip: Hold the tactical button to delay the launch and align your shot; while held, your movement slows and your passive heartbeat sensor activates to help you center the blast.
  • Scans decoys and can show false health bars.
  • Does not interrupt certain drone revives.

Heart Seeker (Passive)

Hear and visualize the heartbeats of enemies within 50 meters while aiming down sights.

  • Detection cone: ~55° in front of Seer.
  • The reticle pulses when a target is inside the cone; direction arrows hint at target location.
  • Heartbeat cadence speeds up as health decreases; shields don’t affect cadence.
  • Works unarmed or while aiming your tactical.
Pro tip: Use a quick aim-down-sights “scan” before healing, reviving, or rotating to confirm the nearby area is safe.

Exhibit (Ultimate)

Throw a device that creates a sphere of micro-drones revealing enemies who move quickly or fire within the area.

  • Throw range: ~15 m.
  • Radius: ~60 m sphere that lasts 25 seconds.
  • Reveals: Footstep markers while walking/sprinting and diamond markers briefly when firing weapons.
  • Counterplay: Crouching, staying stationary, or going airborne prevents reveal; the device (125 HP) can be destroyed.
  • Cooldown: ~3 minutes.
Pro tip: Hide Exhibit behind cover or above sight lines to reduce the chance it’s destroyed. Use the information to decide when to push, reset, or secure a revive.

Legend Upgrades

In Battle Royale modes with Legend Upgrades, Seer can enhance his kit as Evo Armor levels up. Choose one perk per level, up to two total.

  • Level 2 options:
    • Artist’s Reach: +20 m Exhibit throw range.
    • Ultimate Cooldown: –30 s Exhibit cooldown.
  • Level 3 options:
    • Long View: Increase Heart Seeker and Focus of Attention range to 75 m.
    • Split Focus: +1 Focus of Attention charge; –50% silence duration.

Lore

Before Seer’s birth, it was foretold he would bring suffering to the world. The night he was born, a meteor struck the moon of his homeworld, Boreas—an omen many used to brand him a cursed child. His parents looked past superstition, recognizing a compassionate, creative soul and supporting his fascination with performance and combat as expressive art.

Drawn to underground Arenas, Seer honed his talent and presence. Initially met with skepticism, his style and empathy resonated with the outcast and forgotten. As victories grew, so did his audience—and he became a symbol for those seeking to be seen. He now fights in the Apex Games not only as a champion of individuality but also to help heal Boreas, despite critics who blame him for its hardships.

Seer features a rich catalog of cosmetics—skins, finishers, badges, an Heirloom Set, emotes, skydive emotes, banner frames and poses, holosprays, music packs, and transitions. Highlights include:
